Welcome to Konrad's design portfolio
Rode Graphics CC started up in Bellville, Cape Town in April 1999. The South African graphic design studio consisted of two members: graphic designer, cartoonist, illustrator, web designer, icon designer (the list goes on), Konrad Rode was responsible for the creative side, while Erwin Rode provided the initial business experience. Konrad has since deregistered his company in favour of working in his individual capacity, from his home in Mowbray (Why spend hours in traffic and thousands on petrol?).
What I doCorporate identity development (logo design, letterhead design etc.) and brochure design are often relayed by illustration work such as report cover design, caricatures and cartoons. Method to my madness ...All illustrations and designs are done in-house. Printing, copywriting, advanced programming and hosting are outsourced to experts, assuring you of quality design. My designs are eye-catching. My pragmatic approach to design serves my clients and their markets, instead of my ego (I hope).
