Brochure: Eco-Village development
Client: Lynedoch Development
Lynedoch Development wanted a logo and brochure that
captured the essence of their Lynedoch Village project: Sustainability, cost-effectiveness and innovation.
The village, situated near Stellenbosch, was built for the farmworkers'
community and included a community centre and a school. The lengths
to which the architects (ARG
Design) went to recycle energy and cause no
harm to the environment while keeping it low-cost, was astounding.
The brochure was aimed both at local and international interested
parties, and so had to look both "green" and professional. We steered away from the classic rectangular look and created a
square brochure with subtle colours and wide line spacing, printed
on recycled paper.
Credit must go to István Gosztola of ARG
Design, whose input regarding the the logo design was invaluable.
