Client: Lynedoch Development via ARG Design

Lynedoch Development needed a logo and brochure that captured the essence of their Lynedoch Eco Village project near Stellenbosch during the early 2000's: Sustainability, cost-effectiveness and innovation.

The village, situated near Stellenbosch, was built for the farm workers' community and included a community centre and a school. The lengths to which the architects – Observatory based ARG Design – went to recycle energy and cause no harm to the environment while keeping it low-cost, was astounding.

The brochure was aimed both both local and international interested parties, and so had to look both "green" and professional. We steered clear of the classic, rectangular look and created a square brochure with subtle colours and wide line spacing, printed on recycled paper.
