A client of ours jokingly refers to these as surfboards (he surfs). We don't mind. He'll remember them, and so will everyone else we give these to. Why is it that most people seem satisfied with boring rectangular business cards printed in limiting process colours?

Anyone can go to an instant card manufacturer and for a dime have their own business card that looks just like the countless others who got theirs the same way. And I rarely see anyone actually keep business cards they're given. For that reason, we see business card design as the art of that first impression.

Actually, these cards, besides being eye-catching, are also practical. The folded card fits into any purse and the inside is blank, leaving space for additional handwritten details, such as a reference (for those who can't remember why they have our card in their pocket).
