Client: Rode & Associates property economists

The client, Rode & Associates, is an authority on property economics in South Africa, and Rode's Report is their flagship quarterly report on South African property economics. Most illustrations we do for these reports are computer-aided, lending them a professional, modern feel to complement their revamped corporate identity.

We often use cartoons to add some humour to the often morbid subject of economics, something that's appreciated by business people who grow tired of hearing bad news.

In this example, a rich youngster (haven't we seen him before?), standing on top of a skyscraper he probably owns, jumps for joy at his rich pickings. The headline says "Office Rentals Booming". His dad must be a landlord.
