Logo design for wine merchant

Client: Vinotage

Credit must go to Vinotage for the concept of their logo. Done in a popular Cape "freestyle", the logo represents their connoisseur's wine shop in Tygerberg, Cape Town.

In South Africa, wine labels and logos traditionally look conservative — we're talking at least a century old! So not wanting to alienate the traditional wine-buying market, we kept the earthy colours while using a more nineties Cape Town feel using the font and overall design.
