Photo-retouching
Client: Women24 & Revlon
ZA Technology, an internet host and software developer,
approached us about a photo-retouching project involving models'
faces with various layers of make-up.
They created an applet which was used on the Women24 website's Revlon
page which took a range of faces and rendered them live while visitors
chose combinations of cosmetics in order to see
the likely effect it would have before buying the new Revlon range,
such as Animal Instinct.
For this, Konrad sat in his studio and got in touch with his feminine
side! The photo-manipulation took quite some time,
as cosmetics can involve subtle changes and variations in human
skin colour has to look pleasing.
Some examples of the end product can be seen here > (Please note we do not have access to the original
programme any more – what you'll see are merely examples)
Following this project, Revlon in New York went
on to create their own version of the software.
